Well, there's now less than 16 hours until the start of the Marathon!!! Having said that, the forecast is predicting fog which organisers have advised may lead to a delay to the start!
Very different weather to my last two training runs in Spain; temperatures were in the mid-20s°C (choosing to run at a cooler time of day whilst still in daylight). Both runs were only just over 3 miles, short of my 4.8 mile leg tomorrow, though in previous training I've run 4 miles so not duly concerned. The crowds and atmosphere will certainly give a boost, along with thinking about the fantastic St Gemma's Hospice for whom we are running. Good luck to all my colleagues taking part ~ see you bright and early at 7:15am for registration!!
