Having pulled my hamstring and strained my calf (an old injury come back to hound me) during a long run last Sunday, my physio has advised that I do not do any running this week and take it easy if I go out again at the weekend. This week has been spent resting, icing and stretching my leg and I am pleased to say that it is feeling easier now. I will report back as to how my Sunday morning run goes this week and I remain confident that, with the right preparation over the next week or so, I will be fully fit for the first leg of the Corporate Challenge. Whether that stretches to the 10 mile Great South Run at the end of October, remains to be seen…
